Namburians come in two different types: Nambaloo, who live on land, and Namboo, who live in the water. Both originate from ancient underwater caves on Earth, where they spent generations hidden away from the surface world.
Despite their mysterious nature, Namburians have always been gentle and compassionate spirits. They were known to explore the depths of the ocean, often discovering forgotten shipwrecks and helping humans who became trapped in the deep sea. Their acts of kindness slowly became legends passed down through generations.
History
Over hundreds of years, humans began to recognize these spirits as protectors of the sea and started building shrines in their honor. Although many people never saw a Namburian with their own eyes, stories of these kind creatures continued to spread. Eventually, many Namburians left Earth behind and found a new home in the Land of Elsewhere, where they could continue to live peacefully away from the changing world.
Even today, some believe that Namburians still wander the oceans. If you ever find yourself far out at sea on a quiet night, listen carefully...you may be lucky enough to hear the distant roar of one of these beautiful spirits echoing across the waves.
